Shiana has been doing hair for as long as she can remember — since age 11, to be exact, when she started styling her own hair and volunteering her sisters as willing subjects before school and for special occasions. By high school, she was the friend everyone called for color and updos. Some things don’t change.
After high school, Shiana took a detour into the restaurant industry with an eye toward eventually owning her own business. But after some honest reflection, she came back to what had always felt most like herself. In August 2022, she graduated from Empire Beauty School at the top of her class — with color as her clear passion.
What she loves most about color is the collaboration: working with each guest to find the exact shade, tone, and technique that fits not just how they want to look, but how they actually live. For Shiana, there’s no better feeling than watching someone see themselves and light up.
She’s exactly where she’s meant to be.
